Toombs County Redcoats

A few of our Redcoat percussion students spent the last two days at the inaugural East Georgia Marching Percussion Camp at Statesboro High School, learning from some outstanding instructors and growing their marching percussion skills.

We’re proud of these students for taking time during their summer break to continue developing as musicians and leaders. Opportunities like this help make our band stronger, and we’re excited to see what they bring back to the drumline this season.

As an added bonus, Mr. Bullard was the lucky winner of one of the camp’s giveaway prizes! 🎉

🎶 Congratulations to our 2026 Drum Major Team! 🎶

Today, our drum majors attended the Southeastern Drum Major Clinic at Brookwood High School, where they spent the day learning from some of the finest music educators and clinicians in Georgia and the Southeast. Through intensive instruction in conducting fundamentals, musicality, leadership, and effective conducting techniques, they gained valuable skills that will help lead the Toombs County High School Redcoats into a successful 2026 season.

The day concluded with a performance featuring a drum major salute and two musical selections, showcasing the hard work and growth these students achieved throughout the clinic.

Congratulations to our students who participated in the Sweet Onion Area Honor Band!

After just a day and a half of rehearsals, they performed a wonderful concert alongside other talented musicians from across the Sweet Onion area. We are proud of their hard work and the way they represented our band program! 🎶👏
