Lyons Old-time Square Dance: All ages welcome, no experience or partner needed, all dances taught. Live old-time string band. Additional dances TBD.
Dances usually November and February at Oskar Blues in Lyons, April at Lone Hawk Farm. $10/adult, $5/child cash only at the door. WHAT: Lyons Old-time Square Dance: old-time reels, mixers, squares, waltzes and flat-footing to live fiddle/banjo music! WHEN: Various Saturday nights November, February and April. Huge heartfelt hoedown thank you to everyone who showed up to our Saturday night square dance!! We had a blast dancing to Larry Edelman's inspired calling and the New Pleasant Valley String Band. Thanks also to Oskar Blues Grill & Brew in Lyons for hosting our Autumn, Winter and Spring community dances this season!
If anyone would like to host a public or private square dance or other old-time music event, please get in touch and we can help you to organize and make it happen! Hope to see you all on a dance floor soon in local barns, backyards, community spaces, etc.
Meanwhile, we look forward to seeing you all at our scheduled Autumn dance at the very latest!

Hello everyone! This is James with the Boulder County Square Dance.
I wanted to shoot a quick note out to this lovely community about our dance tomorrow, March 6, at the Altona Grange.
We're getting awfully limited on tickets at this point as folks have been purchasing them online from our website.
If you're planning to come be with us and dance, please consider purchasing your tickets soon!
Tickets are $10 online ($15 at the door) for adults. $5 for kiddos.
