They say you don’t find yourself in the mountains; you become yourself. 🏔️✨
There is something profoundly transformative about stepping out of your daily rhythm and into the history-steeped cliffs of the Amalfi Coast. This trip was more than just stunning views and steep hikes; it was a reminder that growth happens when we move—both physically and spiritually.
Scaling those ancient paths and exploring ruins wasn’t just a history lesson; it was a lesson in endurance and perspective. But the real magic? The community. Sharing this experience with a group of incredible folks from around the world reminded me that while the path is ours to walk, we don’t have to walk it alone.
Traveling pushes our boundaries, breaks our patterns, and invites us to see the world—and ourselves—with fresh eyes. Every step on those trails was a step toward a deeper understanding of what it means to be present.
Journey to Self. 🌿🇮🇹

Thank you to all of the women that have supported me in becoming the woman I am today 🫶 every encouraging word. Every hug when I felt down. Every offer to take something off of my plate. Every invitation to spend time together. Every shared story and long conversation. Every recommendation of something that helped me grow. Every laugh together. Every cry. Women really make the world go round. Happy international women’s day ❤️

In times of challenge, whether personally or collectively, I remind myself that it is the discomfort of the challenge that will make me stronger, more empathetic, more wise, or better in the long term. And that gives me hope for the future. That the unease right now is showing us what needs to be seen and healed so that we can do better. My favorite verses that have supported me through difficult times is from “The Prophet” “Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.
Is not the cup that holds your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter’s oven?
And is not the lute that soothes your spirit, the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”
Khalil Gibran

Sixteen years ago, at 21, life felt wide open. I was building my business, adventuring around Colorado, going to concerts every week, falling in love, feeling like everything was just beginning.
And then — I found out I was pregnant.
The emotions were overwhelming. I had no money, no insurance, a brand-new relationship, and no idea what the future held. Everyone reminded me of my options, but only I could choose.
I remember hiking above Boulder, sitting on the side of the mountain, breathing, listening. A song I had never heard before drifted in, and a voice came through clearly:
Yes. This child needs to be here.
In that moment, I said yes.
Yes to life.
Yes to uncertainty.
Yes to becoming a mother.
Yes to Sage.
It wasn’t easy — we worked, went to school, hustled, learned, struggled, and grew. We chose our YES again and again. And now, 16 years later, our life is more beautiful than I could have imagined back then.
I don’t have control over the world, but I have hope — for Sage, for us, for the next generation. When we say yes to our hearts, when we lean in, support each other, and commit to our growth, we create a future worth handing forward.
Sage, your creativity, curiosity, and authenticity inspire me daily. Even when my old fears show up, you remind me that you are who you are for a reason. You are breaking old paradigms simply by being you.
Happy 16th birthday, Sage.
Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for being my greatest teacher.

We’ve entered the in-between — where light fades and the veil grows thin.
A time to listen deeper, to honor what’s ending, and trust what’s becoming.
The dark invites us inward… to rest, remember, and root.
Let yourself slow.
Let yourself shed.
Let yourself begin again.
than you

As the days grow shorter and the mornings cool, we begin to feel the shift of the season. 🍂
The leaves change, gardens offer their final bounty, and nature reminds us that cycles of release and renewal are always unfolding.
But do we honor this shift within ourselves?
✨ What have you grown into?
✨ What are you harvesting?
✨ What are you ready to let go of?
I invite you to gather with me in Lyons, Colorado, on the Autumn Equinox for a women’s circle of reflection, release, and renewal. Together in community, we’ll honor who we’ve become, let go of what no longer serves, and make space to cultivate who we desire to be.
