Starting Small means discovery. Discovering new toys, books, and places.

Here we were cutting apples from the apple tree in the front yard with Mr. Gary introducing stamping with apple shapes and paint!

Tuesday was a BIG day!

It was our exciting first day of Starting Small! All the adorable little ones brought their energy, joy and curiosity.

What have we been up to? Quite a bit! 📚💙

Two weeks ago, Gary White, our REAL Director of Miscellaneous, represented The REAL Program at Endicott College’s Community Resource Fair alongside 30 area nonprofit organizations. He also shared books and information at the Aborn School and High Rock Tower in Lynn. Go Gary! 👏

This past week, Kiara and Jan spent a six-hour day at PRISM training in partnership with Lynn Public Schools and the PreK initiative, continuing to learn and strengthen the work we do with young children and families.

We also restocked our REAL Little Free Library at Greater Lynn Senior Services, keeping books accessible and moving throughout the community. 📖

From community outreach to professional learning to getting more books into people’s hands, there’s always something happening at REAL.
