Happiness like this "during" a marathon comes from all the dedication and effort Meryl puts in long before race day. Consistent mileage and a wicked deadlift ensure that the Boston hills are no match for her! Wish her luck as she trains for yet another Boston marathon. She just keeps on qualifying.

The dumbbell Clean and Press is a fantastic full-body exercise to add to your routine. Along with helping to coordinate the entire body, it helps to improve strength, stability, endurance, and power. Give it a try at the start of a workout.

Warm up your hip flexors before starting into lower body exercises or work on mobility with band assisted reverse lunges. Try to work on gradually extending the hip a little more with each rep.

Band assisted lower body mobility/warm-up movement. Lowering with the help of a band is a great way to stretch your adductors as it takes some of the load off. Pushing back at the bottom of the squat loosens out the hamstrings. Several slow controlled reps before a long hold on the last rep are worth trying.
