Who heard the one and done rumble of thunder late last night? There may be more on the way as we previously mentioned. The SPC has our area highlighted for potential of general thunderstorms over the next few days. Eyes to the sky! We will be monitoring radar and keeping you informed as best as we can. As usual, any thunderstorms will be a "nowcast" type situation.

Below are Days 1 (today) through Day 3 Thunderstorm Outlook

Yes! We have a winter weather advisory in the mountains from 11 AM today (May 15) through 8 AM Sunday! That just raised today's rating to a 7/10.....but there is more!!! We also have a chance of thunderstorms, which means we could hear/see thundersnow!!! If that happens, it will be a perfect 10/10 day!!

Total snow above 4000' could be up to 6" with locally higher amounts at upper elevations!! YES!!!

Some mountain snow possible with snow levels to 3500’ or so. I would upgrade the rating to a 7/10 if the ski area gets accumulating ❄️!!

Lightning has been detected across the border.. keeping an eye on things as the atmosphere is fairly unstable this afternoon.
