What is the first Book in the Bible?

Most people try to build their identity through achievement, appearance, or approval.
But Scripture says:
“God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross…” — Galatians 6:14 (KJV)

Your identity isn’t earned — it’s received.
It’s formed by staying near the cross.
Near His sacrifice.
Near His mercy.
Near the place where grace rewrites your story.

ROMANS 5:8 (KJV)
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

This is the verse that silences shame.
You weren’t loved because you were good.
You were loved because He is God.
Christ died for you — before you ever changed.

Most people base their confidence on how they feel — and that’s why it collapses.
But Scripture gives us something better:
“For I know whom I have believed…” — 2 Timothy 1:12 (KJV)

Confidence in Christ shapes your identity.
Not confidence in yourself.
Not confidence in circumstances.
Confidence in the One you know — the One who keeps what you commit to Him.

ROMANS 4:25 (KJV)
“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.”

The cross was payment.
The resurrection was proof.
This is why we preach Christ crucified — and risen.
Justification isn’t a theory. It’s a resurrection fact.

ROMANS 4:7 (KJV)
“Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.”

This is the Gospel’s promise:
Your sins are not just ignored — they’re covered.
Your iniquities are not just tolerated — they’re forgiven.
This is what blessing looks like.
