We all have memories of sitting on the front porch with our parents and grandparents, surrounded by friends having a good time. We are recreating that atmosphere. A simple place where you can share a sweet treat or ice cream with the kids or grandbabies; or relax with friends over a cup of coffee.

There is a time for words. Words of Thanks, appreciation and love. Today is pie day on the porch though, so for now I'll sum it up with memory boards and cups that represent all the love. Words will come later.

Soup update: Broccoli cheese tomorrow! Potato again on thurs because we had too many people come after we were sold out today and I feel bad. We will get to a regular schedule soon!

Today is the day!! We will start taking orders for Thanksgiving Pies. We only do 100, so get your orders in early :) Our selections have not changed over the past 8 holiday seasons and we appreciate everyone who has gotten pies in the past and can't wait to see you again this year.
It is supposed to be 98 all week. We are pushing soup season one more week back. We are however going to start taking pie orders tomorrow Oct 1st.

We hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Mom's Front Porch will be open for coffee and muffins tomorrow from 6 to 11 to make sure anyone that has to work tomorrow can get their coffee first! Regular hours the rest of the week.
Good luck to all our kiddos and teachers on the first day of school! I hope all of our recent graduates wake up early and enjoy the weird feeling of not going in this morning. Seniors soak in all the stuff year. I know you will all do amazing this year.
