I remember laying with my daughter and my mom in the week after she was born: after 2 days of labor, a c-section, no sleep, and a tiny baby crying wanting to nurse and I looked at my momma and said, "I never knew how much you loved me until I had her." - I think about that statement all the time.

The depth of a mother's love is beyond comprehension sometimes until you have walked that path and have seen for yourself. Im so truly grateful for a mother who still gives out of her depths for me. These past 6 years that I have walked as a single momma to my babies has tested me deeper than I ever thought before but Im still so truly blessed to be entrusted with my two babies the Lord has given me. The intentional undivided time I have gotten with them is hard at times but treasured and cherished!!

I pray I never take for granted what a high honor it is to be their mother and Im so thankful for the wonderful example my momma gives!

We have been all over the south lately and although im exhausted to my core, it was all worth it because it them, always. 🩷

Life lately...

You can't call Him, Savior without also calling Him, Lord and King as well.

The enemy and demons believe/know Jesus died on the cross and rose again to save us from our sins. Unbelief is not what sent them to hell, but it was their unwillingness to surrender to Him as Lord and King.

When Christ calls us to take up the cross and follow Him, it is a holy surrender that takes us off the throne of our lives and places/recognizes God in His rightful place as King our of hearts and lives.

It is not just a belief, but a submission.
It is trusting in who Jesus is and what He did for us by surrendering to His authority because He is deserves it.

Salvation means dying to self so Christ can live through us and trusting He did what He said He would by dying, rising again, and saving us!

Manna didnt last till the next day (except before the Sabbath) because God wants you to trust Him everyday to supply your needs.

Who were you before the world told you to change?

I took a snake i caught to show and tell in first grade. I loved nature, life, and people. I was always dirty, always moving, always playing, talking, exploring, imagining, and loving.

God is helping strip away all the junk that has built up and silenced that little girl over the years. He made me with a purpose and a plan. The only changes I needed to make over the years were from His direction and no one else's.

So I got to catch a snake yesterday, identify it, hold it, and release it back into the dirt. Later my son found a bumble bee with hurt wings and we set it up with a space with water and sugar water. Those were tiny joys that I might of missed if I was trying for perfection in other things.

He cares about the little things.
