Mabel Strong

Look at this! Mabel’s tip of her nose was a blackish color that also has returned to normal coloring. The hemangiomas have decreased in color enormously & are also completely flat! It’s amazing how far she has come!

Ophthalmology Appointment today we got the news, Mabel has intermittent visual attention which is consistent with cortical visual impairment. This is a quailtying diagnosis to register her with the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind and they recommend that as a part of her early intervention team, she has a teacher for the visually impaired.

A little Mabel update:

It’s astonishing how fast Mabel’s medication has been working for her. Me being momma it really didn’t seem like it was changing. When I stepped back and looked at a picture from March (first dose) till today it’s an incredible difference! All her hemangeols have decreased in size & redness.

Mabel goes back to dermatology next month to see her progress & increase the dosage again!
