*UPDATE*- Our horse tried to die while we were on vacation! And HE’S HOME Y’ALL!!!!🤩🐴🫶🏻 He is recovering well and has a very long road ahead! Poor guy! We are just praying for more time with him…. however long God allows♥️ And so thankful for everyone that helped while we were gone and his team at the hospital! WELCOME HOME COCO!! *UPDATE*- Our horse tried to die while we were on vacation! And HE’S HOME Y’ALL!!!!🤩🐴🫶🏻 He is recovering well and has a very long road ahead! Poor guy! 🏝️GRAND CAYMAN🏝️ It was an absolute blast!!! We swam with the dolphins from @dolphincayman 🐬which definitely was a bucket list item and 100% worth it), got in the ocean for the stingrays, held starfish and got to swim in the glowing bioluminescent bay! We also visited the parrot sanctuary and that honestly was such a nice surprise! They had parrots and other exotic birds, but also the agouti (which is like the Cayman rabbit), snakes, guinea pigs, lizards and iguanas!! It really was so much fun! And we got to see TONS of turtles at the @caymanturtlecentre🐢 I honestly have never seen that many turtles in my life! We had some amazing food at @tukka_east_end and our server Tido was the BEST! 🫶🏻We went back 3 times to visit him!😆 We also rented a charter boat for the stingrays, starfish ans bioluminescent bay through @cobaltcustomcharters! Noah and Eli gave us the most fun experience!🚤🌊 And the @caymanparrot is a place you have to take your kiddos if you ever go to the island! My girls haven’t stopped talking about it! 🦜🦎🐍 This was our first time in Cayman and it truly was such a great experience! And loved that we ran into friends from back home!!! Such a small world!!! When your horse tries to die when you’re out of the country on vacation. Y’all…. Absolute nightmare scenario. He had to go in for emergency surgery and we honestly weren’t sure what was even going to make it out of that. If it wasn’t for our sweet neighbor and Ashley and and of course our vet , he absolutely would have died.

Thankfully, he did make it out of surgery and spared us a really tough conversation with our 12 year old. Now going forward, I’m not sure how much time we have left with him, but you better believe we are going to make the best of it.

He’s still at the hospital recovering and hoping to pick him up really soon. Just SO beyond thankful for everyone that helped when we were gone. It is such a helpless feeling when you’re not there. I never want to feel that way again.

Just keeping it real on here for y’all that are wanting a horse or farm animals. It truly is SO difficult to leave, but if you do, make sure you have a really good support system.
