The historic Cactus Theater opened in April of 1938 at a cost of around $30,000 and it originally featured 720 seats and a “washed air cooling system”. The original venue operated from 1938-1958. TONIGHT! - The LORDS OF FILM summer film series continues with a screening of "Cry-Baby"(1990)! The film was directed by John Waters and stars Johnny Depp (his breakout movie role!), Amy Locane, Iggy Pop, Ricki Lake, and Susan Tyrrell. Arrive ahead of the movie to participate in the "Cry-Baby Cruise" with the Lords of Film and Adelita Glory over at CASP, featuring classic cars and rockabilly models before the show over at the Cactus!
