The Black Law Student Association (BLSA) at TTU Law is committed to identifying and articulating the needs of African American and minority law students.
Our purpose is to increase diversity through inclusion, awareness, and advocacy in order to improve the legal profession, foster cooperation, and impact the Texas Tech community.

Congratulations to Brittany Scee and Isaac Blanco for finishing the Nelson Mandela International Negotiations Competition as Quarterfinalists! The duo traveled to The Big Apple this past week to compete against other law schools from across the nation during the 50th Anniversary National Black Law Student Association Convention. Isaac and Brittany each received top oralist honors. They also finished the preliminary rounds ranked as the number 1 seed! Great job guys!!!

Join BLSA tomorrow, Feb. 28 at noon in room 109 for our final Black History Month speaker! Our guest, Mary Tobin, is flying in to discuss the role and social duty of today's attorney. She will speak specifically about why lawyers with either diverse backgrounds or diverse experiences are particularly important. See everyone there!
