Three Wind Energy students and WESA members (Gavin Bigler, Giulio Danino and Emily Johnson) have been selected to represent the NWI at the 2017 AWEA conference. They need a little help with funds since they had to pay for all expenses out of pocket. Please take a look at their GoFundMe page, donate if you can and share the page if you like. Come by Experimental Sciences 120 today at 4 to listen to Ryan Patterson, TTU and Wind Energy Alumni, speak about his role in the wind industry! Several professors will be giving extra credit for attendance as well!

WESA participated in the NWI's Raider Welcome event by playing team building games and introducing new events coming this fall! We had a great time meeting and interacting with new and current members.

Our BS Wind Energy students were invited to a gathering last night to meet other students, the instructors and faculty, and to get the semester off to a great start...Thanks to all who helped to make the event a success.
