Maneki-Neko charm ♡

For those of you who don't know, Maneki Neko means "Beckoning Cat" in Japanese. The history of the cat dates back to the 1600s. The legend involves a samurai who was beckoned inside a temple by a mysterious cat. As soon as he stepped inside, lighting struck the spot he was standing at. The story of the cat then became a legend and was made into statues and good luck charms! 🎋Maneki-neko are traditionally depicted seated while holding a Japanese coin with one paw raised in a beckoning gesture. 🐱
