We loved seeing some familiar faces and of course getting to know so many new faces! The ProCom department shared info all about our majors and minors, student organizations, and our new summer 2024 study abroad opportunity in Greece!

Congratulations to Kayla Alvero, ProCom GPTI and master’s student, on presenting her MCOM 6350 professional project, 'ProCommunicate in a Digital Era.' Her work aims to enhance the ProCom department's social media presence by addressing engagement challenges through audience awareness and proposing strategies like targeted content creation, increased social media activity, and collaborations with other university departments for sustained success.

Coming Spring 2024: Ethics in Professional Communication Through Film 🎥

This PCOM 4301 Special Topics course, taught by Dr. Erin Pumroy, explores ethical challenges and principles in professional communication by analyzing and discussing movies that depict various professional communication scenarios. Students will examine ethical decision-making, cultural nuances and the impact of communication on relationships and organizations.
