Hey, plant friends! Just wanted to take a moment to update y’all. As I’ve stated in the past, I’ve been dealing with some health issues over the last year that have really left me feeling bad a lot of days. Those issues, in combination with this crazy inflation, have led me to make the decision to take a break from selling this summer. So many small businesses are trying to do their best to stay afloat right now, and I feel that the stress of battling rising costs would not be beneficial to myself or my family at this time. Shipping costs are too high, supplier costs are too high, and as a small business I cannot compete with the big box stores that now sell specialty plants at prices I simply cannot match. May you all have a blessed summer and remember to support your local businesses! Until next spring…

I almost missed a very important recognition day for plant people! January 10th is National Houseplant Day, and while the day is almost over, I'd still love to hear what your absolute favorite houseplant is!
Considering that I have well over 300 plants in my home and backyard greenhouse (excessive, I know), I have to say that my favorite houseplant has to be my Begonia Maculata. There's just something about those polka dots that bring a smile to my face every. single. time.

From my family to yours, Happy New Year!

Hey, plant friends! It's been a minute. Just wanted to check in with y'all and let you know that I hope to be having some more plant sales soon. I had a really bad case of Covid last month and combined with the other health issues I've had, it really did a number on me. I'm currently on home oxygen as needed and am moving pretty slow, but I'm doing so much better. which I'm so grateful for. Thankfully, I got my greenhouse set up and done prior to becoming ill, so all my plants are happy and healthy and have survived the cold nights thus far. I'll post a sale thread very soon!
