This happened in Sweden in the summer of 2019. Our family lives on a small island that can only be reached by ferry. It was one of those warm, windless nights where everything feels unnaturally still.

My sister and I haven’t shared this story with many people — mostly because we don’t want anyone to think we’ve lost our minds. But we know what we saw that night was real.

As usual, we took my sister’s German Shepherd out for a walk after dark. We had just reached the back of the house when we heard it — a scraping sound on the tin roof only a few meters away. We froze and looked up.

At first, we thought it was just a garbage bag caught on the roof. But then it moved. Slowly, it rose up — first on its hind legs — and we saw it clearly. It was taller and larger than the German Shepherd, with a long, pointed face.

For a split second, it crouched as if ready to spring at us. Terrified, we both screamed and bolted back toward the house. Our cries brought the rest of the family running outside… but by then, there was nothing. No creature, no sound, no sign of anything at all.

No one believed us. But my sister and I know what we saw. To this day, we still think about it — the thing on the roof that looked like a wolfman.

Can't decide which one I like better

So for those of you who don't know, I'm a bookish girlie. I'm building an at home library (it's called House of Whimsy ©️ after my registered brand name)
I figured I could share this album of TBB (to be bought) books for my shelves here.

Believe it or not this photo was taken at 3 AM on the night of a full moon, the moonlight illuminated the fog as it passed through the valley full of trees.

I couldn't help but to pull over while driving near the coast of Oregon and saw this scene through my car window. I knew I did not ever want to forget this incredible view.

It was slightly raining and windy but the moon was shining through the breaks in the clouds, at first it seemed I wouldn't get the shot as the fog kept rolling out just as the moon broke through, the rain was getting on my lens, and the wind was shaking my camera too much for a long exposure, but finally, after wiping my lens between every shot, anchoring down my camera, and patiently waiting for the scene to come together, I was able to capture this dreamy photo of what to me is the perfect depiction of the Pacific Northwest 😍
