Our very own MD Ashraful Goni will be presenting at the Science Gateways Conference 2024! He’ll be sharing insights from his research on "User Competence Metrics for Science Gateways: The Case of the KnowCOVID-19 Gateway."
Authors are: MD Ashraful Goni, Roland Oruche, Minhaz Uddin, Opeyemi Lawal, Prasad Calyam, Kerk Kee
In his talk, he’ll dive into how user competence—things like domain knowledge, technical skills, and problem-solving—can impact how people use science gateways. Some really interesting findings, like how age and education play a role, but gender and ethnicity? Not so much! 🤯
