🏆 Congratulations to an incredibly talented voice of the Wild Lark Books Young Writers Project who is the 2023 UIL 5-4A District Champion in Poetry Interpretation representing Estacado High.
So proud of the work of our Young Writer and James who directs our program!

What an incredible day we spent at LAMESA ISD today! We shared with every student from Pre-K to 5th grade and had a special round-circle with high school students.

Donations covered the cost of the beautiful illustrations in this 58 page children’s book. Part of our mission is to help educate readers about the publishing industry. So when you think about costs behind creating such a piece as this, think $$$$. That’s right. $$$$. Every artist deserves payment for their work, and so to bring to life projects like this, it takes lots of money - or they don’t happen at all. This is why we’re here! To make it happen!
