The Gravestone Girls create decorative artwork using the beautiful and primitive images carved on New England gravestones; give lectures on cemetery art, history and symbolism as well as teach gravestone rubbing classes! Our work aims to entertain and educate on the historical perspective of old cemeteries by documenting and preserving the beautiful art they contain.

Getting on the road for Allentown Pgh Night Market happening tomorrow night!
Getting on the road to Pittsburgh dark & early friday morning for the Allentown Night Market Saturday night! Watch for news from the road, a live cemetery tour Saturday morning, pictures of delicious cocktails from Maggie's Farm Rum and hopefully a stop at Grim Wizard Coffee Packing in the fun! You too can start driving to Pittsburgh in time for the night market Saturday from 7-11p. Get moving!

If it's June, it must be time for the Allentown Pgh Night Market !! We'll be getting on the road Friday for the 10 hour ride to the great city of Pittsburgh & the even better event happening Saturday night. Watch for commentary from the road, a live cemetery video Saturday morning & pictures of cocktails from my very favourite rum distillery Maggie's Farm in The Strip District!

Thank you to everyone who came out for the gravestone cleaning workshop with Plainville Historical Commission, Plainville Massachusetts! It was great fun and a lot of good work was done today. People jumped right in and about a dozen stones were cleaned. The transformation was incredible! I'd like to show you all the photos I took,, but I took exactly one. The other shown here is by the Historic Commission and I know they'll be posting more. If you were there today, post your before and after shots in the comments!
