Well we thought we would post the quilt photos this year just like you would walk in and out of the rows. Everyone by now who has a ribbon of any color has told everyone they know - and they should be very proud of the accomplishment. And we like to think that by now all of these quilts have kept you warm on the bed, been given as Christmas gifts, welcomed a new baby into the family, and helped us all remember to thank a veteran. Maybe you have quilted the top, made lots more of the block that you entered, or if the quilt did not win a blue ribbon is set for its return for one more try this year. Every quilt was wonderful to see, brought smiles to countless visitors to the fair, and maybe started someone on their quilting journey. To us all are winners, all are enjoyed and we thank you for sharing them with us in 2025. Enjoy one more walk in the textile department!!

The Special Entries division holds a special place for us, featuring two distinct classes: Group entries and Individual entries. This year, Lisa Leming took the top honor among group entries, and Regina C, Amanda RoBear, and Mary Jo Stivers excelled as individual entrants.

Although Junior Entries were down, the energy and interest shown by young people in the North Wing Lobby suggest this is merely a temporary decline. Winners in the Junior Division are as follows: Best Junior Quilted Entry - Mackenzie Jackson; Best Junior Handwoven Entry - Ruby Jones; Best Junior Knit Entry - Eleanore Bosarge; Best Junior Crochet Entry - Lilly Mattingly; Best Junior Entry Age 11 and Under - Emerson Nelson; Best Junior Entry Age 12 thru 17 - Regan Geary; Junior Sweepstakes - Marin Kleinman.

This was only the second year for the Machine Embroidery division, and we were astounded by the number and quality of entries. We eagerly anticipate next year's submissions. Marylin Thomas took top honors in this division, winning Best of Show.

This year, the Christmas and Holiday division featured exceptional items - perhaps we'll strive to be on Santa's nice list! Congratulations to Sarah Cawthon on her Best of Show win!
