Since the beginning of it all, dancing and music has always been revolutionary. 🪩☮️
So this month, there’s no theme, no costumes, just community.
I’m using my platform and monthly event to try and make people’s lives a little easier after this weekend sees the end of SNAP benefits for so many who rely on them.
This party has always had no cover, but I urge you to bring canned / non perishable food for a pantry a friend is involved in. You can also donate money which will go to their wish list to get things like hygiene products and perishable items.
I will be donating my pay for the evening, which is based on bar sales - so I encourage you to show up, drink up, and help raise some funds for those who need it.
Please share with your friends, come have a drink, bring an item, talk with a stranger. It’s less about the glitz and glam and music this time and more about helping those in need.
