Skipping to about middle of each video will be at least a little more exciting, both start painfully slow and I get up to at least "kinda slow"!
Turbo CBR Test n Tune Open lapping at HPR 4-8-18 Full Course. Got to take the turbo CBR out to test the new K03 turbo build. Cold temps, street tires, and general being rusty mean...

Busy busy busy. Hard work through the weekend has finally paid off! Took the turbo CBR and race bike out Sunday for their inaugural rides! Weather was brisk (and I was rusty) so nothing amazing happening in terms of lap times but Im still extremely happy with both machines. The turbo CBR pulls like a beast (trying to lift in third) and the race bike rides like its on rails (comparatively at least) thanks to some initial setup and of course the suspension. Was definitely appreciative of the eager drive outs with the +2/-1 gearing courtesy of the sprockets too. Not gonna lie the little 600 is my preferred track machine by a large margin. It was actually difficult to get back onto the turbo CBR after riding the race bike; I never realized how heavy, soft, and cumbersome that machine is! Dont worry though turbo fans she isnt going anywhere. Videos in progress stand by.

Today was all about finishing up body work and cleaning the bike back up (all that work mad her dirty again). Got the main colors down, may have to leave it like that for a while until i have time to find my second colors...and also sand down the current paint to slightly less than gravel texture

I was supposed to post this sunday evening, but adter about 40 hrs under a car across 3 days i was fried. Was working full tilt too so not manybpictures to share sorry. The answer to the "mystery" from thursdays post, is Shiny Parts!!! The Camaro got KW V3 coil overs, BMR Pro bushing kit, BMR front and rear sway bars, Hawk HP+ front pads (maintenance), rotofab CAI, and SW long tube headers! Giant thanks to my couple buddies who came over to help me wrench. The second set of hands was invaluable at times.
She now sounds like a beast and after an alignment and 20x9 square wheels/summer tires. She'll handle like a beast! Track vids hopefully around mid summer.
PSA- dont forget to put in your strut hats...im not gonna say who...but someone forgot and accidently punched the rubber bushings out of their rear strut mounts. Fixed now, lol. So tack another 3 hrs tonight onto the 40ish hrs over the weekend :P

Face down, ass up, thats the way we....work on cars? I know most people come here for the turbo cbr, some are kind enough to support my racing, but how about some 4 wheel love?
Prepping for some major work across the next 2-3 days. Is it maintenance? Shiny bits? Guess away! +10 internets for who ever makes me laugh hardest :P

You ever get dead set on something and suddenly its 2am??? On the bright side the fairings are slowly coming together. Definitely a job better left to the pros...fitment is a chore! 80% there though. Plus my headers arent all rusty now!!! What to do about the exhaust though....

I have waited far too long to start mounting my body work! Love how durable it feels and fitment is great. Cant wait to paint it!
Side note(s): had fun helping a friend clean up his carbs on his custom bandit 600 and the turbo CBR is fully functional!!! Pictures are kinda boring so keep an eye out for a run in "mexico" in the nearish future ;)
Its aliiiiiiiiive!!!

Another successful day! Got my chain installed on the race bike, started safety wiring and got the new-used turbo cleaned up and rebuilt!

Another big push this week. Rear shock 98% rebuilt (need to find somehwhere to do a proper nitrogen fill), rear tire replaced, sprockets replaced, and what are these gems hidden at the end???
02/05/2018
Ive finally gotten off my lazy ass and started making focused progress on the race bike. This weekend focused on the front forks and the rear suspension is now in progress as well. Shout out to ! Got their front springs installed and rocking their fork fluid, cant wait to get everything back together so I can do setup!
