What an incredible example of Love in Action!

In partnership with Jacob's Ladder Outreach and Snacks in Sacks, Nazareth Home residents packed an amazing 500 nutritionally balanced snack bags in just 45 minutes for distribution to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

Snacks in Sacks is a Louisville-based nonprofit dedicated to serving people facing homelessness and food insecurity. Since 2015, the organization has worked with volunteers, schools, businesses, and community groups to assemble and distribute snack bags and essential supplies to those in need. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, Snacks in Sacks creates meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to make a direct impact through service, compassion, and generosity.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Betsy Gibbs, Snacks in Sacks, and Jacob's Ladder Outreach for this wonderful community partnership and for sharing their mission with our residents.

There is something especially moving about watching people who may need a little extra support themselves take the time to help others. Our elders demonstrated that kindness has no age limit and that everyone has something valuable to give.

Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community—one snack bag at a time. ❤️
