We do this by providing learning experiences to reduce violence, enhance personal integrity and foster mutual respect. A true trailblazer and leader, Von Macklin has made a lasting impact on athletics and education across Louisville. After graduating from UofL, she coached, taught and was a dean at JCPS earning four Regional Coach of the Year honors and being named the 1993 Citizens for Sports Equity Outstanding Coach of the Year. A proud member of the UofL Athletics Hall of Fame, Von’s legacy continues to inspire.
