We are ready to spoil our teachers and staff for Teacher Appreciation Week, May 3-7. We are asking families to help purchase some of the items we will need to provide a treat to our teachers/staff every day during Teacher Appreciation Week. School funds can be used to purchase items for our students, but we do not get funds to purchase things for our teachers. Please consider signing up to purchase an item or two. Your child can deliver the goodies to the office or to Mrs. Warren's room any day this week or Monday of next week. 🏫 👩‍🏫 📚 ✏️ 🖍

🌟🌟 Teacher Spotlight on a Saturday 🌟🌟 Sayyy whatttt!? Our teacher spotlight today is Mrs. Abner. Mrs. Abner continuously helps plan for events and activities for our Dixie kiddos and is always doing something neat in her classroom or gym! Another one of Dixie’s finest teachers who wears many 🧢. Thank you Mrs. Abner for always having your creative cap on and making learning FUN for our kiddos!

Why do You teach? Kids are my life. I want to make a difference in children’s lives. I want to be that person a child can trust and can go to when they need someone to talk to, when they need a hug, or a high five. I want to see the light bulb go off when a child who has been workin’ hard for something, achieve their goal......because kids are my life 🤣
