Friendly reminder— The Fall Meet starts tomorrow at Churchill Downs!!
This place has created lasting memories for me and my family over the years. I’ve watched 2 Triple Crown winners, owned shares of horses that have finished first and last, and taken my kids to the Kentucky Derby. When they get older, I hope the kids enjoy the pictures we have and the memories we’ve shared.
I also have deep relationships with many people who work behind the scenes at the track. It’s not always about the horse that crosses the line first. It’s about the experiences you have that last a lifetime.
One more thing. Be kind to the people who are working and don’t forget to tip. That’s how they feed their family.

The Riggs Family is ready for football season!!!
Name this Louisville neighborhood!!
It’s near the Paddock Shops and is a hidden jewel in Louisville. Looks very similar to Norton Commons, but it’s not.

Summer 2026 was good to the Riggs Family.
Thanks for the memories.
Here are a few pictures of our journey.
- We bought a minivan. The kids named it Fluffy. We love it!
- Women love a man in a van. (Not really)
- Fluffy took us to Destin, Florida to visit my family.
- We got to see my 96-year-old grandma, Betty June.
- We flew to California and took the kids to DisneyLand.
- Laguna Beach is incredible.
- Then, Fluffy took us to Asheville, North Carolina.
- Then to Charleston, South Carolina. Kids love the beach.
- I got to help a lot of clients buy houses.
- We also explored the Newport Aquarium near Cincinnati.
- And ole Fluffy took us up to Indianapolis. The children’s museum is world class.
- We ate tons of popsicles.
- And soaked up every moment of being together.
- Now, Crew is in her first year of kindergarten.
Summer of 2026. Thanks for the memories.
