I wish I could freeze this moment in time.
Pure laughter and pure joy.
My kids went to a birthday party this weekend that had a traveling petting zoo.
All of the kids absolutely loved it. Well, everything but the turkeys walking around. They were not fans of the gobbling turkeys. Really, i didn’t like the turkeys either.

The community set a new record for the Home of the Innocents!!
1k people attended the annual fundraising breakfast in downtown Louisville.
Our generous community raised $348,406!

Why am I excited about this house?
A friend of mine, who’s a first-time homebuyer, just put it under contract. We’ve been working together for about 4 months and she’s looked at 18 houses. Some of them sold in the same day – with multiple offers – and went over asking price. BUT, my friend did not get discouraged and stuck with the plan. We found her a great home and negotiated less than the asking price. She will no longer be paying rent, but building equity. That’s life changing. Let me know when you are ready!!

She turned 97 today!!
Please wish my grandmother a Happy Birthday!!
We got to visit her last month and she's a rockstar.
Still lives at home and still drives. She was proud to tell me she recently passed her test to renew her license.
She will tell you the key living a long and happy life is by going to church, clean living, and having a wonderful grandson named Sterling. She didn't say that part about me. She has 3 sons, 10 grandkids, 13 great grandkids, and 2 great great grandkids.
The stories she tells are incredible.

PART OF I-65 IS CLOSED— The five-mile closure extends between the Watterson Expressway (I-264) and downtown Louisville (Jefferson Street). It will be closed from Monday, June 1 – Friday, July 31.
WHY?
Three key bridges are being replaced.
Sidewalks will be reconstructed and improved, and modernized lighting will be added under and adjacent to the new bridges.

Happy Anniversary to this wonderful woman.
I thank God everyday that she’s my life partner and mother to our children. We got married 10 years ago. The small private ceremony was on the bank of a coastal dune lake right off 30A in Walton County, Florida. It was the perfect day — in the perfect spot — to start something wonderful.
