We are thrilled to announce that we will be starting renovations to our space next week! The goal of this remodel is to improve and modernize the facilities and double our usable space. Construction will happen in 2 phases to ensure that we can continue running workshops and keep our store open.
Phase 1: Renovation of the currently unused space on the right side of the building.
Phase 2: Creation of a classroom double the size of our current class space with sinks and electrical outlets for dyeing, and turning the current class space into a loom room.
**We have no plans to cancel any workshops!! Classes will continue, and our store will remain open.**

There is a beautiful cross-section between art and function when it comes to fiber work. One of our members came in to show us this beautiful shirt she had made through combining various fiber techniques. After weaving a piece of fabric on a rigid heddle loom, she crocheted panels and sleeves—sewing them all together to make this beautiful, handmade garment. The book that guided her, Woven Style for the 15” Rigid Heddle Loom is one we sell in store. Pick it up today and learn how to make your woven work into functional art.
And don’t forget to check out the workshops we featured last week that teach unique, meaningful ways to weave wearable art!
