The world's best Mercedes 190E builds. Every country. 🌍
Every build level.
You can’t run an aggressive setup without making some sacrifices. Here’s Miguel Angel 🇨🇴 putting in the heavy work on the 190E cutting, hammering, and reshaping the rear arches to clear the new wheels.
It takes a steady hand and a lot of nerve to take an angle grinder to a classic W201, but the payoff is undeniable. That tight, flush fitment gives the chassis the exact tactical, street-sweeping presence it needs.

Wanted to share a few shots of Matt Smith's 1991 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.6. It’s rocking a pretty rare factory spec: Pueblo Beige exterior over a Brazilian Brown leather interior.
He included a couple of pictures of the progression. It started as a super clean, bone-stock survivor, but I had to give it a proper attitude adjustment. Brought it closer to the ground to dial in the stance and got it sitting right on a set of multi-piece wheels. It's amazing how much a suspension drop and the right wheel setup transforms the entire presence of the W201 chassis gives it that subtle, aggressive VIP edge without losing the classic heritage.
Any other W201 owners out here in the Midwest?
Let’s see what you’re rolling in! Drop a pic below.
Are we feeling the murdered-out front end, or do you prefer keeping the classic chrome star?

Tucci Hotrods dropped a Ford Raptor EcoBoost into a Mercedes W201. Twin-turbo V6 power in a classic 90s German chassis. Half the internet is crying about purism.
Genius or blasphemy?
M104 breathing through ITBs.
The custom tubular manifold, striking yellow trumpets, and engraved coil cover give it a highly calculated, almost hostile presence in the bay.
This is how a W201 should be built.
Details in frame:
- Mercedes M104 Inline-6
- Individual Throttle Bodies (ITBs)
- Custom tubular exhaust manifold
- Engraved center cover plate
- High-clearance electric fan setup

What if Mercedes-Benz built the EVO II today?
The result might look something like this: a full-carbon Mercedes-Benz 190E EVO II, stripped down to the essentials and rebuilt with modern motorsport obsession.
Every panel wrapped in exposed carbon fiber.
An aggressive rear diffuser.
A towering race-inspired wing.
No chrome. No compromises. Just pure aerodynamic purpose.
Timeless DTM heritage under the Jordanian sun.
Homologation royalty hits the streets of Amman. This isn’t your average ‘80s executive saloon, it’s a genuine 2.3-16, packing that legendary Cosworth-developed 16-valve head and bred for the DTM grid. The W201’s wind-tunnel-sculpted aero kit and deep front lip look downright menacing under the Jordanian sun. Planted on period-correct, five-spoke monoblocks with the sunroof tilted, this silver bullet is a rolling testament to the golden era of German motorsport.
What happens when golden-era tuning meets W201 precision?
You get a masterclass in cabin refinement.
Imagine handing a 190 over to Gemballa. This interior has been completely “Gemballa’ized,” ditching the factory spec for pristine grey leather draped across almost every conceivable surface.
But it’s the tech that steals the show: the analog dash makes way for a retro-futuristic Gemballa digital gauge cluster, perfectly paired with a bespoke multi-functional steering wheel and a completely overhauled stereo system.
A true lesson in bespoke ex*****on and period-correct excess. What are your thoughts on this aesthetic?
