Two Bit Circus Foundation

We’re looking for volunteers for a STEAM Carnival for Palisades Charter Elementary. They lost their campus in last year’s fires and is currently sharing space at another site. This event is a chance to give their students a morning that just feels fun, normal, and full of hands-on STEAM learning.

What it is:
A STEAM Carnival with science and engineering activities, games, make-and-takes, and interactive booths.

When:
Saturday, May 2
Event runs 9:00am – 12:00pm
Volunteer shifts from 8:00am – 1:00pm (includes setup and cleanup)

Where:
Brentwood Science Magnet
740 S Gretna Green Way, Los Angeles

What you’ll do:

Help run simple activity booths
Support kids as they play, build, and explore
Assist with setup and light cleanup

What to expect:

Around 150–200 attendees
Short breaks during your shift
Access to a teachers’ lounge (fridge + vending machine, cash only)
You’ll get a Two Bit Circus Foundation t-shirt to keep

Come play, build, and inspire with us at the Hawthorne School District STEAM Expo!

Two Bit Circus Foundation is seeking volunteers for the Hawthorne School District STEAM Expo on Saturday, March 21 at Prairie Vista Middle School in Hawthorne. Volunteers will support hands-on activities, educational demos, and interactive experiences that help kids see science, technology, engineering, art, and math as exciting, accessible, and meant for them.

No STEAM experience needed. Lunch, a $30 travel stipend, and a volunteer t-shirt are provided. Multiple shift options are available, and even a few hours can make a difference.
