Advancing Behavioral Health Care at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Downey, CA

This motion approves and establishes a project at Rancho Los Amigos to remodel a vacant space for the Strong, Healthy, And Resilient Kids (SHARK) program. The SHARK program is run by the Department of Health Services and provides culturally informed care for children and youth ages 0 to 21 who have experienced pediatric adversity and/or behavioral, developmental, and complex medical needs that put them at high risk for poor mental and physical health outcomes.
