Olvera Street has seen lower foot traffic since COVID and still hasn’t fully bounced back. Recent ICE raids and heightened immigration enforcement have added another layer of uncertainty for some visitors and businesses. Tiendita owners along the historic street are keeping their fingers crossed that the World Cup helps bring people — and business — back.
