Peak Restaurant! Dragon 88 had worked on the seat cushions for this area that was designed by and project managed by which on the day of delivery Covid hit and the shipment was caught in the mayhem of a national shutdown! They finally made it to their destination and it was nice to see the beautiful space with the Manhattan views, 101 stories high.

Monarch Butterfly Pillow! We love seeing customer’s style with our pillows! Robert has it with his La Catrina Dia de Los Mu***os statue which is covered with Monarchs which are the souls of the dead. There are butterflies that decorate the sides of the shelving that come from his trip to the Monarch Sanctuary just outside of Mexico City! @ www.dragon88.con

New Conrad Los Angeles! Architect Frank Gehry and Tara Bernerd & Partners did the Interiors. Frank Gehry has framed the perfect perch in the San Laurel restaurant to view his Disney Concert Hall. The hotel starts on the 8th floor and the architect has large windows to showcase the surrounding buildings with two restaurants open by Jose Andres who has done all the food and beverage. The bars are all very spectacular especially the bar by reception with these wood lighting fixtures. The furniture are mixes of different fabrics with contrasts of velvet to leather, rope chairs, corduroy, rattan, wood is prevalent . The artwork is very Conrad: modern and colorful with an endorsement of local artists. The guest rooms, they took us to the top floor that looks upon the Disney Hall are small yet adequate with a pass through sliding window in the bathroom and everything relatively open to make it feel bigger. The pool area is pretty cool with a view of all the surrounding buildings with cabanas. Agua Viva is a beach vibe restaurant with an event space. The meeting rooms and ballroom are separate from the hotel traffic. When the shopping mall opens this location is a much needed rejuvenation of restaurants and retail to complement the museum and theatre crowds.

Hotel Andra Guestrooms! After working on the production of the designs by it’s always interesting to see our production in its final interior setting. We’ve stayed at this hotel on business and the large scale rooms and it’s ease in service for business travelers is a major plus. The pillows showcased here were in a heavy slubby linen in a rich mustard color with a intricate centered braid trim and natural cord edging. The accessory package Sharilyn designed were organic looks like this mixed with the modern look of velvet and some graphic patterning.

W Philadelphia Project! We ❤️ seeing our custom work for the W Philadelphia with the design work of This is the famous love/lust embroidered pillows and quilted toile throw that has tongue and cheek designs based on the history of Philly! We love the back drop of the bed that matches the W entry. The bathroom tile is amazing with this patterning. The dynamic columns seem to move in the lobby.
