Morocco 🇲🇦 does not represent Africa" Statement by the Moroccan Minister
Morocco's Minister of Sports, Mohammad Saad Berrad, stated that Morocco participates in the FIFA World Cup to represent Morocco, not Africa. According to him, the national team competes first and foremost to represent Morocco, not the African continent as a whole.
Mr. Berrad said that every country has the responsibility to defend its national interests, honor, and identity when taking part in international competitions.
The Minister of Sports also stated that Morocco does not need Africa's support.
