Monarch Hero Day is back this Sunday, May 31 from 9–11 AM at Victory Memorial Grove in Elysian Park.
We’re pulling w**ds, watering plants🌿✨
No experience needed. If you can identify a w**d as “that thing right there,” you’re qualified.
✅ Tools provided
✅ Good vibes provided
✅ Monarch butterflies appreciate your service
Just bring:
🧢 A hat
💧 Water
☀️ Sunscreen

Open skies, city views, community, music, art, and the simple joy of watching kites dance above one of LA’s most beautiful green spaces.
We’re so excited for the return of Clockshop Kite Festival this Saturday, May 9 from 2PM–6PM! This family-friendly celebration brings together communities from across Los Angeles for an afternoon filled with free art workshops, live music, dancing, and joyful connection in the park.
Be sure to stop by our table! We’ll be coloring, talking all things Monarch butterflies, and sharing a little nature magic with the community 🦋✨

Clockshop’s Kite Festival, returning for the sixth year.
Saturday May 9th, 2026 from 2pm to 6pm at Los Angeles State Historic Park. This is for all age groups and is a family-friendly cultural festival that brings together diverse communities in Los Angeles through the art of kites and a day of joyful connection in this important public green space. Clockshop invites attendees to participate in free arts workshops, enjoy live music and dancing, and meet local community organizations to learn about their work in the nearby neighborhoods. 🪁🪁

May 17th Monarch Hero days are returning. We will be at Victory Memorial Grove at Elysian park from 9am to 11am. We will be watering and w**ding the area. No experience needed and we will provide tools. Just remember to bring water and wear some sunscreen
If it’s your first time remember to fill out the volunteer waiver form and if interested sign up to be a Monarch hero. We have lots of different volunteer opportunities
