Interested in taking a dance class? Why not take it during spring semester at AVC!
• DA 116 Dance Improvisation (CRN 35664) TR 5:15-6:35pm in GYM 140----Open to all, this class offers a safe space to learn about the body in relation to movement. Among other things, we will participate in movement investigations through visualizations, active body awareness and music.
• DA 123 Intermediate Modern Dance (CRN 36655) MW 5:15-6:35pm in GYM 140----This class is a study of dance techniques developed by outstanding dancers in the modern dance field, which uses beginning modern dance as a base and progresses to a higher level of technical difficulty and competency.
• DA 203 Advanced Modern Dance (CRN 36656) MW 5:15-6:35pm in GYM 140----Using beginning and intermediate modern dance as a base, this course is a continuation of the study of modern dance with an emphasis on performance style as well as increased technical and choreographic skills.

Doesn't take much to enroll. And you get a whole semester of dance!

BEX Bowling Lounge Fundraiser:
Flyer update, the previous flyer had a misprint on it (the correct address is 706, not 709), but you can still use it. Here is the corrected one. Remember you can pick up flyers at AVC GYM 140 or get one from one of our dancers. Physical paper flyers must be presented in order for us to receive the donation!

Fundraiser at BEX Bowling Lounge!!
On Thursday, October 20th we will be at BEX Bowling Lounge auctioning and raffling off gift baskets.
ALSO, BEX will donate a percentage of their bowling profits to us!! Just bring this flyer in and present it when purchasing bowling and we are all set!
PLUS...we will be dancing!! We're all about crazy, site-specific improv!
To get a flyer (if you don't want to print this out), see a H**P dancer or stop by the college dance room and pick one up. We have lots!
