As 2026 National Crime Victims’ Rights Week begins, this case stands as a reminder that victims’ voices must be heard and justice must be pursued without delay. The families, along with Mothers Against Murder, call on the system to uphold its responsibility and ensure that this long-awaited step leads to meaningful accountability.

Today, Sunday, December 14, 2025, during a public Hanukkah celebration called "Chanukah by the Sea", resulted in the deaths of 15 people and the wounding of dozens more, including a number of children and two police officers.
