Please welcome Caitlyn Dean as the newest assistant principal at LMS! See her bio below.

Loris Middle School is proud to welcome Mrs. Caitlyn Rhodes Dean as its newest assistant principal. A fifth-generation Loris native, Mrs. Dean was the salutatorian of Loris High School’s Class of 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching Middle and Secondary Social Studies from Coastal Carolina University. She also holds an Education Specialist degree in K–12 Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

For the past six years, Mrs. Dean has served as an instructional coach at Loris High School, where she has supported teachers and students through instructional leadership and professional development. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, reading, spending time at the beach, baking, shopping, and cheering on the USC Gamecocks!

Mrs. Dean is excited to join the Loris Middle School family and looks forward to building relationships with staff, students, and families while supporting the school's continued success.

There is a Low Country Food Distribution this morning at LMS.

Loris High School will be offering their summer experience program once again. Rising 9th graders (students who were in 8th grade during the 25-26 school year) are also eligible to attend. You can click the link below and complete the application or pick up permission slips from LMS or LHS Monday - Thursday from 8am-4pm.
