I made updates to my stories yesterday we should be proud of me. Not many updates but I made updates lol.

LongCon was so much fun and so busy for us! Running a maid cafe is a lot of work!

Thank you everyone who came to both and the maid cafe! We had such a blast serving all of you and hope to bring an even more fun experience next year!! We put so much love into our little cafe and you all put so much love back! Thank you!

We had some amazing helpers this year and several who put on performances for our guests! I wanna thank the wonderful & for performing for us and helping out as much as y'all did thank you.

I'm super proud of my performance and hope to continue my improvements, I really appreciate the kind words everyone had for me and!! Everyone who performed knocked it out of the park! I demand to see all of you perform again!!

Dragonfly (she/he) is honored to be a judge for this years lipsync at Longcon!

Cosplaying for 13 years and performing at conventions for 8, her background in dance and theater has always pushed her to perform.
Dragonfly has a flair for the macabre so her cosplays reflect that!
She's excited to judge and watch the performances of this year's Longcon!

Well well look who it is? Our freckled and fearless coordinator ShougaNeko!
Bringing LongCon to life with the rest of the team and the library staff for the 3rd year in a row!
When not styling wigs or running himself ragged you can catch him spending way too many hours playing Genshin Impact, Persona 5, and fueling his dr pepper addiction.

Stop in to watch him and others give a panel on the basics of wig styling during LongCon this year~ let's see if we can't tame some of those flyaways together!

ShougaNeko is beyond excited to be able to bring LongCon to life again and help support the library and the community as a whole.

and I got to go to the Heartbeats ablaze event put on by we had such a fantastic time! The games were fun and the drinks by .themed.drinks were just so yummy!

We got so much fun Lads merch and played some really fun games! It was so cool to see everything they prepared and to see all the really cool artists!

The raffle was exciting to watch happen and see just how hype people got for some of their prizes!

We can't wait for the next event, with our little group in tow with us lol.

Fun announcement!! We're seeking maids/butlers for the maid cafe!

The Longview Public Library's all-inclusive mini convention, LongCon, is coming up on Saturday, February 21. 

We're looking for volunteers for a few different positions for our maid cafe!

Our Maid Cafe (located in the auditorium) will be a limited-seating event offering tea and light snacks to guests. The maids/butlers will act as waiters/waitresses in a restaurant-like setting. For most positions in the Maid Cafe, a Food Worker Card is required. Cosplay (any library-appropriate costume is fine) is not required, but it is highly preferred and encouraged, with the dress code being formal/semi-formal. Maids/butlers may, after coordinating with the cafe leads, Hannah and Merm, prepare a short PG act, skit, or other bit of entertainment, but it is not required. Breaks will be included.

My wife and I had a wonderful time and clearly you can tell I was smiling so hard all you can see are the pearls on my eyelashes.

Hello Sailor Cosplay aka Merm is excited to bring her knowledge and celebrate her 3rd year of attending Longcon!

Merm is here to show you the ropes of beginner photography! Make sure to visit her during her workshop: The Art of the Click!

Merm has been cosplaying since 2009. For 17 years she has been sailing through these rocky seas and hopefully making it to the next island of skills for her craft.

On the other hand she's been doing photography since 2007! Learning under her mother and continuing her career with With many ups and downs and the changes in the industry Merm is excited to share tips to start your photography adventure! She brings experience in convention photography for 10 years and studio photography for 6!

When not at her workshop you can find Merm at the maid cafe capturing photos for your memories!

It’s good to see them, isn’t it?

Cora AKA the Northwest Good Witch has been a cosplayer since 2011 and in the lipsync community since 2022. They started their cosplay journey with an ebay prom dress and a party city wig.

They’ve competed, judged, and hosted in competitions throughout the PNW, including Geekfest Northwest, Chibi Chibi, and Rose City.

They love performing and being as extra as they can, making the stage their home and the audience their friends. They also love encouraging others and making the community a welcoming place for all!

This is their second year attending longcon, and first year hosting! And they hope to make it the best lip sync this side of the rainbow!

A throw back to 2017! I went to pride with my wife and we dressed up as a more casual Neptune and Uranus!
Going up to Seattle was a blast and figuring out I could pull this outfit out of my closet and run around as Neptune was a lot of fun.

and I are eyeing some causal looks for these two 👀👀

Oh oh? First adventure of 2026?! You bet! We went to and we definitely pulled some 5 star memories!
I am a sucker for anything that lets me get super dolled up and hang out with my friends! Add in a hyper fixation like Lads and you have me hook like and sinker.
While not entirely cosplay I went pretty hard on trying to dress very specific for my favorite boy.

Are we really surprised I like the merman??? Getting all dressed up in a big group like this was so fun and it was great to just go have fun and meet other people just as obsessed with this silly little dating sim/ RPG/ house sim game.

Of course just like prom we went to Denny's afterwards ✨✨
