Longview Continue CARE Hospital
Our facility is designed to care for patients who are too sick for a regular hospital.
We are a specialized 32 bed LTACH (Long Term Acute Care Hospital) that provides care for patients who require extended hospitalization for complex medical conditions.
LTACH FAQ – How Long Do Patients Stay?
Recovery looks different for every patient. In an LTACH, patients typically stay longer than 25 days because they require continued acute-level medical care and monitoring.
The goal is to help patients stabilize, regain strength, and continue progressing toward recovery.
Our care teams work closely with patients and families throughout every stage of care.

● Changes in sleep
● Increased stress or anxiety

Men are often less likely to talk openly about their health or seek medical care early. Men’s Health Month encourages conversations about physical and mental health, preventive screenings, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Checking in with a friend, spouse, father, or brother could make a difference.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION: Why is LTACH care being recommended for my loved one?
LTACH care is typically recommended for patients who require ongoing medical treatment and monitoring for conditions such as respiratory failure, neurological disorders, prolonged wound healing, and complex medical management. A transfer to an LTACH is typically recommended because a patient requires longer-term intensive care than is provided in a traditional hospital setting.
