“Welcome to the Ape Cave” is a song written in the parking lot while taking a break during my first few days working there in May 1997. There was a sign that said “Welcome Ape Cave” inside the little building I rented lanterns out of. The rhythm and inpirado came from these dudes. We hung out a couple times in late 1996 (Kelso/Longview) and early 1997 (Pullman\Moscow).
We played today and it sounded good.
