Pictured is a beautiful and very rare red phantom quartz crystal cluster.

Phantom crystals are ghost like crystals seen inside of the original. They form when the first crystal’s growth pauses and another mineral, in this case, Hematite forms over the original. Then the crystal continues to grow to encapsulate the impurity.

The phantoms in this specimen a quite visible.

Here is a fossil plate of orthoceras, they are an ancient ancestor of squid who lived some 400 million years ago.

Amethyst Crystal Clusters are some of my favorite crystals. This one is a great specimen with beautiful color and sharp crystals.

Here is cool example of a Stibnite Crystal Cluster. This mineral in its powder form mixed in fats or other carriers has actually been used as a cosmectic eye shadow. This one however, will remain as it is, in my collection of awesome specimens.

Wow, I picked this beautiful specimen of Malachite while at a rock and gem show in Quartzsite, Arizona back in February while traveling back from San Francisco. This one gets to stay in my private collection!
