After completing the risk-avoidance health curriculum offered to East Texas schools and organizations, Mercy Manor staff collaborated with Ore City ISD and several community partners to present a Shattered Dream demonstration. This student-led portrayal of a substance-induced wreck served as an important reminder that choices and their consequences impact individuals as well as the communiry and can potentially impact the fates of others.
A heartfelt "thank you" to OC staff Billy Rogers and Nurse ORR, OCHS drama department students and parents, Upshur County DPS, Ore City Fire Department, New Mountain VFD, Judge Potter PCT 2 JP, Constable Jason Weeks PCT 2, Christus EMS, Overstreet Wrecker Services, and Mindy Robertson for your support in bringing this meaningful program to fruition.
