This is a fun page to share my super scientific inspection process of chicken fried steak inspection.
I have a badge and it’s my mouth.
That’s all the authority I need.
I don't know how many years ago (over 31) My sweet MIL Gloria Atkinson took me (and my future wife) to Dirty's Restaurant 1710 Durham Dr Houston, TX 77007 and we had the chicken fried steak. It was the size of a hubcap and left a lasting impression on me. I haven't been able to find pictures of the place but as I recall it had newspaper everywhere and hanging down from the ceiling as well so it was a very unique place.
If anyone has pictures of this place I'd love to see them.

15/15 Perfect Chicken Fried Steak - Texas Certified CFS Inspector - First time visit and Pettys was perfect! Very flaky and tasty crust specially prepared by Lalo for lunch :)
