Conner decided he didn't want his weekend quite over with on his way back from ATX this late afternoon so we swung by KRS Jet Center out at the East Texas Regional Airport for him to snap a few photos and to collect a few Air Force pilot badges that were given to him by the pilots! 💪

🇺🇸 Black Eagles - 435th Fighter Training Squadron out of JBSA - Randolph which includes Lackland, Randolph and Fort Sam Houston. Training them to fly F-15, F-16, A-10, and F-22

🇺🇸 🇩🇪 Boxing Bears - 90th Flying Training Squadron out of Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, Tx. This is a Euro-Nato Jet pilot training squadron.Squadron. Today we saw American and Germany working together.

Stopped into Buffalo Bell for the first time today after I picked up Conner on his way back from ATX with my sister and her husband after the UT vs Ohio State game.

Always wanted to try this place. Nice full menu to choose from. Hearty portions. Prices are great and the food was very good. Conner decided on the fried fried catfish filets and fried shrimp. Very tasty corn meal batter! And I wanted to try the grilled shrimp with grilled veggies also the chicken, shrimp, crawfish fried rice.

All tasted great! Give it a try when in Longview, Tx!

Pop in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 back in the late 90s with Nan's brother Jacinto and his wife Marín.

They LOVED Pop! And that cold Medalla Light 😆

Pop has always kept his front shirt pockets useful.

Back in the early 90s he used to have a wild sugar glider that he befriended and he used to walk around his house with her and sit on the front porch and she would sleep in his pocket.

When the sugar glider passed on to squirrel heaven I believe Pop was genuinely upset.

I think he enjoyed that win!
