Meet Evan! Evan is 23 years old and working for an entry level job in the construction industry or a construction adjacent job.

Evan has had a lot of volunteer experience as a handyman with his local church, and with a local junk removal business. He has also participated in sheetrock installation and deck building. Evan is a great team player, a dedicated worker, and easily coachable. He is eager to get into a professional workplace and have the opportunity to shine.

In his personal life Evan is a very smart and funny man with many interests. He loves anime and is quite an expert. Evan also has a very diverse appreciation of movies and enjoys discussing the in-depth details. He loves to study philosophy as well. Recently, he has been playing a lot of chess. Lastly, it is not uncommon for Evan to throw out a “dad joke” and loves to hear back them as well.

Today, part of the Life Works Vocational Team went over to STEPS to work with the students and help them gather information on Job Foundation and what they can help Transition kids in our community! Way to go Payton, Tayler and Amy!

This weekend is Cinco da Mayo! How are you going out and enjoying the holiday? Here at Life Works, we had a fiesta with lots of delicious foods! We celebrated the holiday early with those we work with! We are wishing everyone a safe and happy Cinco da Mayo weekend!
