Don't forget to grab some reads after school for the Memorial Day Weekend! We have lots of new YAs just in time! We close at 6:00 PM and will not re-open until Tuesday, May 27th. The outside drops will close @ 5:45 PM. We hop everyone has a safe and happy holiday!

Ladies and Gents, we are once again in need of your help!

Please spread the word: We want to find a few adults who are fluent in both English and Spanish who would be willing to read during a multicultural story time event that will take place during the city’s 4th of July festivities at Maude Cobb.

If you know of anyone who would be willing to help out with this, please give Miss Jenn a call @ (903) 237-1027.

Awesome news!!!! Miss Jenn came across a website giving away two free audiobooks EVERY WEEK from May 15th –August 20th!!! This would be a GREAT way to stock up for Texas Teens Read this summer!

Also, this week, one of the free downloads is The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. If you have that as required reading for the summer, grab it now to avoid a rush on the library!
