Initial thoughts on the “Bilkings voice” (Bilstein 6112s w/ King 700 # coil springs) initially I thought they were a little stiff, but after some driving and minor offroad use they seemed to have softened up quite a bit. They are still a little harsh on real sudden dropouts, but a lot better then my previous setup (OME struts and 590lb springs). With another 80lbs over the nose with the winch it should be perfect, especially loaded down with some camp gear and tent.
The truck definitely handles sooo much better on road, I run no sway bar and the bigger shock in combination with the 700lb springs keep the truck very flat and planted in corners. Before with all the weight and OME struts and 590lb springs the truck was about 1.5” lower in the front, and felt very floaty and soft and had a ton of body roll in the corners, it’s really night and day!
Overall very happy with the swap and choice of putting 700lb springs on 6112’s. Now if would make a matching 6100 series rear shock for the Tacoma’s. 🙏🏻

Just need to fill a couple holes in this bumper, and then the 2021 facelift is complete.

Oh yeah, still need to install all of my suspension too 😆
