Longview, TX: The Longview Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating Keryl Kalb.

Kalb was last seen leaving Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview at approximately 1500 hours. She is wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans. She is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing around 190, with gray hair, and hazel eyes.

Kalb left in a 2021 Toyota Highlander, gray in color, displaying Texas license plates (RSB4857).

Update 6/5/26 9 pm: Roadway Cleared.

Please avoid the 1400 Block of Fourth Street.

Longview, Texas: Shooting Investigation

On June 5, 2026 just after 3 AM Longview Police officers responded to the 1200 block of Baxley Lane for a shooting that had just occurred. Investigating officers discovered that two juvenile teenagers had been shot by a resident.

At this time the facts point to the juveniles committing theft when confronted by the resident. Injuries appear non-life threatening, and detectives continue to investigate.
